“Don’t worry, I’ve got you”
I’m your friendly neighborhood fireman with a camera
—Hi! My name is Josh. I’m a photographer and a firefighter that lives in Poulsbo Washington with my wife, two kids, three dogs, seven hens, and one very early rising rooster! I have a passion for taking care of people that translates perfectly from firefighting to photography. I specialize in making sure you have fun, feel safe, and get to express your unique personality in all of your images.
In my spare time I like to help people having emergencies. I like to play with my kids and tell really bad dad jokes and puns. I like to hike, camp, and generally explore the Olympic Peninsula. I spend a lot of time in local parks and out in nature, so I know lots of really cool places to go take portraits. Where is your favorite place to have your picture taken?
Poulsbo Photographer
Why did I become a professional photographer?
As a firefighter, I have the honor of going into people’s homes when they are having an emergency and need help. I love seeing pictures on the walls and the stories they tell while I’m in these homes. They tell the story of family, of love, and of an individual’s unique and special life. I believe that photography is the secret to unlocking our most valued memories. I just want to help be a part of telling that story for you.
Portraits should be as special as you
My family motto is, “Whatever it takes”. I’ll do whatever it takes to get the images that mean the most to you. Love hiking? We are going to hit the trails! Love the water? We are going to get wet. Runner? I’ll try to keep up. The point is, I’m going to meet you and your family wherever you are in life and I’m going to capture some amazing images so that you will remember these days forever.
